Chennai, Feb 19 (IANS) DMK President M.K. Stalin on Tuesday criticised the PMK for signing an electoral alliance with Tamil Nadu's ruling AIADMK for the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing election booth agents of the party at Ambur in Vellore district, Stalin recalled that PMK founder S. Ramadoss had come out with a book on the "corrupt activities" of AIADMK leaders including late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and now his party has joined hands with the same AIADMK.
He wondered whether the PMK founder is not ashamed to enter into an electoral alliance with the AIADMK after dubbing it as corrupt.
On Tuesday, the AIADMK and PMK announced their electoral pact under which PMK will contest seven Lok Sabha constituencies and also get a Rajya Sabha seat in 2019.
