The principal, three staff members and the teacher who were arrested in the Ryan International case have been released on bail on Thursday, as per media reports. A case of death caused due to negligence was filed against Sandhya Sabu, the principal and the rest. CNN-IBN reports that a charge sheet will be prepared within 15 days.
Initial probe into the case revealed lapses and gross negligence from the side of the school authorities.
The police took statements of the principal and 12 teachers of the school on Monday (February 1), as part of its probe into the death of Divyansh Kakrora, a class 1 student of the Ryan International School in South Delhi’s posh Vasant Kunj area, who was found dead on Saturday in a water reservoir at the school premises.
Alleging foul play in Divyansh’s death, his family has demanded a CBI probe. He was cremated on Sunday, January 31, at Dausa district in Rajasthan, where the family hails from.
