Remember Unofficial Subramanium Swamy’s post on Michael Jackson being a Virat Hindu whose real name was Mai ka Lal Jaikishen?

Well, at least that was a parody post, but a book titled Christ Parichay written by Ganesh Damodar Savarkar, who was one of the five founding members of RSS, claims that Jesus Christ was actually a Vishwakarma Brahmin by birth.

With each sentence, the claims made by Damodar Savarkar get more and more preposterous, however the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak (Savarkar National Memorial) seems to be blissfully unaffected by it.

The SSRS, which preserves and propagates the Savarkar brothers’ literature and ideology, will release the Marathi book on 26 February.

According to the book, it turns out that Jesus Christ aka Keshao Krishna spoke Tamil and wore a sacred thread like other Brahmins. He also worshipped Lord Shiva for three years and achieved darshan of Shiva.

The mystery of his resurrection was also solved, by yoga of course. As the legend goes, the yoga-practicing spiritual Essenes cult saved him after his crucifixion when the Jewish people charged him with blasphemy.

Speaking of Jews, they’re actually Hindus. Everybody is actually a Hindu. Christianity is also a Hindu cult, with present-day Palestine and Arab territories having been Hindu land.

There is no mala fide intention in reprinting this particular book after 70 years. It is one of the books that my grandfather (Ganesh Savarkar) authored. His books are not available and hence we have decided to publish them again for the benefit of readers. I know some people will raise questions. But then what Ganesh Savarkar has written in this book is not new. Many others have researched on the similar lines and drew their own conclusions. Ganesh Savarkar too did his research before writing the book.
