Vatican City, Oct 24 (IANS) Pope Francis' weekly audience on Wednesday focused on the Roman Catholic faith's commandment which exhorts believers not to commit adultery.
The Pope addressed an audience of several hundred at the Vatican Square to say the Church's teaching goes beyond fidelity between married couples and said that fidelity was a quality one must apply to every relationship and aspect of our emotional lives, Efe news reported.
"Fidelity is the sign of a free, mature and responsible relationship which rejects selfishness and is marked by the generous gift of self," the Pontiff said.
"Every heart longs for love and all authentic love is a reflection of God's eternal love," he added.
