Pakistani terrorist Mohammed Naved Yakub was produced before a Chief Judicial Magistrate in Jammu on Monday.
Naved was produced before S Gupta at the High Court Complex to record his statement in connection with the Udhampur terror attack. Two BSF jawans were killed and 15 others injured in the attack.
The CJM also sent the LeT terrorist to judicial custody for two days as a part of the process to ensure that he was giving his statement voluntarily.
Naved, who had been captured after the attack, was also produced before the NIA court on Monday.
A resident of Faisalabad in Pakistan, he was earlier brought from Srinagar by the NIA team and was also taken to the spot of the attack in Udhampur district.
