(File Photo: IANS/PIB) New Delhi, Dec 19 (IANS) A total of 50,767 complaints were filed against e-commerce companies between April 2016 and March 2017, an increase from previous financial years, Parliament was told on Tuesday.The number was 23,955 during April 2015 to March 2016 and 13,812 during April 2014 to March 2015, Consumer Affairs Minister C.R. Chaudhary told the Lok Sabha in a written reply. The National Consumer Helpline has partnered with more than 340 companies, including 55 e-commerce firms, under its convergence programme, and the complaints received are transferred through the system software to these companies for redressal, he said.--IANSspk/him/vd
