Mathura’s district police has intensified its hunt for RSS activist Rajveer Singh who according to police sources allegedly trained the inmates of Jawahar Bagh.
He added that the police was also trying to ascertain if Rajveer was present at Jawahar Bagh on 2 June.
Violent clashes broke out between the police and illegal encroachers at Jawahar Bagh on 2 June leaving 29 people, including two police officers dead. A hunt is also on for Kapil Sharma who was ensuring the presence of all the inmates of Jawahar Bagh on that day.
No less than 50 cases have been filed in the matter with 11 persons booked under IPC sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 303, 336, 332, 333,436, 186, 188 and the investigation is going on under Section 31 (a) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1934.
