Indian Youths Abused by Saudi Employer to Return: Sushma Swaraj

The three Indian youths who were physically abused by their Saudi employer will return to Indian within the week.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that the three Indian youths from Haripad in Kerala’s Alappuzha district, who were beaten up by their Saudi employer, will return to Indian within a week. This fresh development has been reported to the Saudi police.

The minister stated that India had earlier approached the Saudi police and got the youths police protection.

According to reports, the three youths were taken to Saudi Arabia by a placement agency on false promises of jobs.

A video recorded by one of the youths and circulating on WhatsApp shows their Saudi employer beating them with a wooden plank.
