  • The heatwave in North India is expected to spread to other parts of the country and abate only by the end of May, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). (PTI)

  • The Met Department said parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat and north Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will suffer from heat waves during 17-21 May.
