Gunfight Between Army and Militants Underway in Kashmir’s Handwara

• A gunfight is underway at Handwara, in North Kashmir, after an army official received 'input' on the presence of militants in the Hingnikoot Ramhal area, reported Greater Kashmir.
• The army has cordoned off the area where two to three militants are believed to be trapped.
• The militants reportedly fired upon the search party, triggering a gunfight. More details are awaited.
