New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS) The Central Reserve Police Force here on Monday said the media reports of fratricide pertained to the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) and not the CRPF.
Today at about 6.30 a.m. an incident of fratricide took place in a Company (1066) of the CAF of the Chattisgarh Police in which 2 personnel died and one person received bullet injury, the CRPF clarified in a statement.
The Company concerned, deployed at Ranchi's Khelgaon, was en-route to Hazaribag for elections duty for the third phase of Jharkhand Assembly polls.
