The Supreme Court on Tuesday recorded the Chhattisgarh government’s statement that Delhi University professor Nandini Sundar and others named in a murder case will not be arrested.
Significantly, the apex court also asked the state government to give advance notice of four weeks to Sundar and others if it wants to proceed in the case.
Last week, Sundar, along with nine others, was booked for allegedly murdering a tribal villager in insurgency-hit Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
