Foreigners Attacked, Molested by Group of Drunk Men in Ajmer

Four foreigners were allegedly attacked and looted by around six unidentified youths, who also molested one of them at Ajmer district in Rajasthan. The attackers were allegedly inebriated.

The foreigners were going to visit Ajaypal dham when they were attacked. They tore the clothes of a woman in the group and injured a male tourist’s head with a stone.

Some drunk men tried to talk to the foreigners to which they resisted. The men later started following the foreigners and tried to molest the girl. The victims ran away from the spot and called a friend. One person got injuries on his head.

Two women in the group are from Spain and Turkey and one man is from the USA while the nationality of the other foreigner is not yet known, the police said.

A case under the relevant sections of IPC including molestation has been registered and an investigation is on, Kumar said.

The police has launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants who are still at large.
