Jitendra Singh Tomar, former law minister of Delhi, and AAP leader, has been granted bail in the fake degree case.
He had confessed to have bought his B.Sc and LLB degrees from an agent in 2001.
Tomar was booked under IPC section 471 for cheating, forgery and acquiring a job using a fake degree.
He had claimed to have acquired his degrees from Awadh University but no record of his time at the university was found.
