Justice (Retd.) Markandey Katju, a former chairman of Press Council of India, on Monday, said Finance Minister Arun Jaitley should resign over the allegations of financial irregularities in the DDCA.
In a Facebook post titled A Time to Resign he wrote:

If massive financial irregularities were taking place for several years right under Jaitley’s nose when he was head of DDCA, as disclosed by Kirti Azad and the videos in Wikileaks4India, there are only two possibilities and in either case, he is unfit to continue as a minister.

Katju said that Arun Jaitley was either aware of all the scams in DDCA, or he was absolutely unaware of the on-going corruption.
“In either case, he is unfit to continue as a minister,” Katju concluded.
