The Lieutenant Governor’s office has issued a notification saying the DDCA probe panel set up by the Kejriwal government is unconstitutional and illegal.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, however, has publicly backed the L-G’s office saying the Gopal Subramaniam DDCA probe panel is indeed illegal and unconstitutional.
In an interview with CNN-IBN, Aam Aadmi Party’s Sanjay Singh said the probe panel had been legally made and passed in the Assembly.
The L-G’s office said that the Delhi govt has no jurisdiction to constitute Commission of Inquiry into DDCA affairs.
