Bombay HC Grants Anticipatory Bail to Activist Teesta Setalvad
Bombay HC asks Setalvad to cooperate with investigating agencies.

Bombay High Court has granted anticipatory bail to activist Teesta Setalvad.
Setalvad and her husband Javed Anand have been accused of violating foreign exchange laws regarding the funds they received from US-based Ford Foundation.
According to a report by NDTV, the Bombay High Court also said that an individual is allowed to have a different view and that it is the duty of the state to protect the citizen’s right to have such a view.
CNN-IBN reports that the court has also asked Setalvad to cooperate with the agencies in the investigation.
