"He would skip studies to go for modelling and photography assignments and my uncle used to scold him," a relative of Ankit Saxena reportedly told TOI. "At the end of the day, he would hand over the earnings to his mother."

Delhi boy Ankit Saxena was like any other youth, weaving dreams for a bright future, but his life was snuffed out too early. According to a TOI report, he wanted to build a big house for his family and a studio for himself. Ankit also loved body-building and was known to have been possessive about his bike.

The 23-year-old was reportedly murdered on Thursday, 1 February, by his alleged girlfriend's family who did not approve of their relationship.

A photographer who enjoyed modelling, Ankit wanted to make it big in Bollywood. He even had his own YouTube channel called 'Awaara Boy.' Besides wedding photo-shoots, he also shot music videos and spoofs, reported TOI. These he uploaded on his Youtube Channel.

He enjoyed acting and even made appearances in his videos, which he edited in his makeshift studio. His friends told TOI that he he had hoped his YouTube channel would help him accomplish his dreams.

He had dreamt of making it big in Bollywood as well. A few months back, he had met a director with his portfolio. He was a big fan of Shraddha Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi films.

He was also interested in careers in the army or police, reported TOI.

Ankit Saxena's family appealed to the press and the politicians to not communalise and politicise the incident. His father, in an interview with Caravan Daily has also pointed out that a lot of fake information about his killing is being circulated on the internet.
