Akhilesh Pati Tripathi, Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker, has been arrested in the 2013 rioting case, the police confirmed on Thursday. He has been taken into judicial custody for two days in the Adarsh Nagar case from two years ago.

He is the fifth Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker to be arrested. The ruling came after he failed to appear in court.
