A cabin crew member of national carrier Air India has been arrested by the customs department for allegedly trying to smuggle marijuana by hiding it in a meal service cart.
Officers seized nearly two kilograms of ganja from the cart of a Chennai-bound Air India flight on 19 July, according to a release issued by the customs department.
The release said that a detailed investigation had been carried out and a member of the cabin crew had been arrested.
