Why is there so much pollution in Delhi? Pollution has forced Delhi schools to close down. It’s bad even when the haze lifts. The reason for smog has been attributed from firecrackers, to vehicular and industrial pollution, and also smoke from stubble burning in neighbouring states.

The toxic air is quite dangerous and can kill you six years early. How? Because breathing Delhi’s air for a day is equal to smoking more than 20 cigarettes!
