The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) declared the Class 10 board exam results on Tuesday, 12 June, at 9.30 am. The board also released the Madrasa Alim results 2018 at the same time.
Students can check their scores on the official websites of the TBSE board at tripuraresults.nic.in. Apart from the official website, the results can also be checked on third party results websites like indiaresults.com and examresults.net.
The exams were conducted from 6 March to 10 April at around 51 centres across the state, and nearly 49,000 candidates took the exams. This year, the pass percentage fell to 59.59 percent from 67.38 percent in 2017, reported Hindustan Times. A total of 22 candidates secured the top 10 positions.
According to The Financial Express, the board exams were earlier affected by the Tripura Assembly elections and hence, three language papers – Mizo, Bengali and Hindi – were shifted from 9 March to 10 March.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb took to Twitter to congratulate the students who did well in their exams and also said that the students who couldn’t achieve their desired results this time will get there the next time around.
The board also had to reschedule the Class 12 English exam from 5 March to 8 March for the same reason.
