Delhi University on 8 July released its third cut-off list for undergraduate courses with a marginal decline in scores required for admission as seats are still up for grabs for courses such as BA (Honours) Economics, BCom (Honours) and science stream for the general category aspirants.
With less than 20,000 seats left to be filled in Delhi University, the principal of affiliated colleges had earlier said the cut-offs for admission to courses would see a marginal decline in the third list.
According to the data shared by DU, 43,854 admissions have taken place after 778 withdrawals since the beginning of the process.

Delhi University's prestigious St Stephen's College, which follows a separate admission procedure, had announced its cut-off lists for various courses on 24 June itself, with the minimum eligibility requirement for BA English (Hons) and BA Economics (Hons) being 98.75 percent.
For English (Hons), general category students from Commerce and Science streams should have secured at least 98.75 percent to qualify for interviews, while for Humanities, it was 98.25 percent.
An additional requirement of at least 90 percent in English Core or 85 percent in English Elective had also been set. Meanwhile, for BA Economics (Hons), the cut-off was 98.75 percent for Commerce, 98.5 percent for Humanities and 97.75 for Science, with an additional rider of at least 92 percent in Maths.
The college has at least 50 percent of the seats reserved for Christians and follows a separate admission criteria. The release of the cut-off lists is followed by an interview process.
The first cut-off list for courses and colleges under Delhi University is likely to be released on Thursday, 27 June.
The document verification, approval of admission and payment of fees for undergraduate admissions on the basis of the first list would be carried out till 1 July (except 30 June).
The second cut-off list would release on 4 July, and the document verification, approval of admission and fee payment would be carried out from 4 to 6 July.
The third, fourth and fifth cut-off lists would be released on 9 July, 15 July and 20 July respectively.

Eligible applicants have started to form queues at multiple colleges of the Delhi University to complete the admission process.
As the students geared up to complete the admission process on Friday after the first cut-off list, they expressed frustration over the delay in the process.
A Miranda House college aspirant told The Quint that the lack of an option to edit the form while applying was a hurdle in the admission process.
“I didn’t face any problems as such, however, there was no option to edit the form, which could have costed the admission of students in Delhi University,” Satakshi Kaushik said.
The Delhi University extended the date of admission for candidates whose grievances were pending and students from Andhra Pradesh as there was some confusion over the eligibility criteria applicable for them.
In a decision taken late Monday night, the varsity authorities informed college principals that the admission portal will remain open till 7 pm Tuesday, 2 July, for colleges to "admit pending cases", including applicants with grievances that were attended by college and university grievance committees.
There were issues like confusion over names in certificates and some mistakes in filling up the forms.
For applicants from Andhra Pradesh, the colleges were directed to only consider their marks and not grades.
The Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh had given CPA out of 10 points to students in place of marks.
Over 19,000 students have taken admissions to the Delhi University till Monday, 1 July, after the first cut-off list was announced, according to the varsity officials.
Over 4,000 students are yet to pay fees, they added. Till 10.15 pm on Monday, 19,886 students took admissions to the 63,000 seats on offer.
There was a huge rush in colleges as 1 July was the last day for seeking admissions after the first cut-off list was released.
A few colleges, including Gargi College and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, have already started putting out the second cut-off list on their websites.

The Delhi University's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) on Friday, 5 July, came out with the dates on which it will announce its cut-offs.
The first cut-off will be announced on 15 July, followed by the second list on 20 July. The third cut-off list will be declared on 26 July, the fourth on 1 August and the fifth on 6 August.
Kamala Nehru College principal Kalpana Bhakuni said many of the seats have been filled up in her college and even seats for reserved categories have been filled up at a fast pace.
Normally, there would not be much movement on those seats in earlier years but this year it has been different, she said, adding that they will be holding a meeting to discuss about the third cut-off list on Monday, 8 July.
IS Bakshi, principal of Dyal Singh (Morning) College, said 65 percent of the seats have been filled up in his college and the third cut-off list will see a marginal decline of 0.25 to 0.5 percent.
"Science courses, language courses, B.Com programme and B.Com (Honours) will see third cut-offs as there are seats still vacant. There are 1,800 seats in the college," he said.
Language courses like Punjabi (Honours), Urdu (Honours) and Sanskrit (Honours) will see third cut-offs, he said, adding that BA (Honours) Political Science has seen seats being filled in all categories apart from seats reserved for Kashmiri Migrants and Economically Weaker Sections.
