The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 results on Thursday, 2 May. The students from across India are now looking forward to getting admissions in their desired colleges. A lot of them aspiring to get into Delhi University.
As per a tentative schedule for admission approved by the standing committee of Academic Council on 2 May, DU is likely to start its admission process from 20 May. It is likely to continue till 31 May.
The first cut-off list is likely to be released on 14 June. The tentative schedule still needs the final approval from the Academic Council, as per the reports.
A curb on the sports quota admissions has also been proposed by the committee, said the report published by The Indian Express.
The standing committee has also proposed relaxation for the students coming from rural and government schools in order to curb the enlarging urban-rural ratio among the students.

The first cut-off list for merit-based admissions was released on 18 June last year and the highest cut-off was for Lady Shriram College at 98.75 percent for its BA (Programme) course.
