The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for the Class 10 exams on Monday, 6 May. Girls outperformed boys yet again in the exam, in which the top rank was shared by 13 students with 499 out of 500 marks.
Students can check their results on the board’s websites: cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.
Congratulating the students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Proud of my young friends who have successfully cleared the CBSE Class X examinations. Wishing them the very best for their journey ahead. May these young minds continue making us proud. Congratulations also to their teachers and parents! #CBSE10thresult".
This comes after the CBSE on 2 May declared the Class 12 results for all the regions.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the results for the Class 10 examinations.
Union Minister Smriti Irani took to Twitter to share the result of her daughter in the class 10 board exams.
Thirteen students have scored 499 in the exam, with seven of them being from the Dehradun region.
The total pass percentage in the CBSE Class 10 exams is 91.1 percent. The top three regions are Trivandrum (99.85 percent), Chennai (99 percent) and Ajmer (95.89 percent).
Trivandrum and Chennai region bagged the top two spots with a pass percentage of 99.85 and 99, while Guwahati recorded the lowest with 74.49 percent.
There was an overall increase of 4.40 percent in the number of students who cleared the exams this year, compared to 2018.
Girl students have fared better than boys by 2.31 percent.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also congratulated the students.
Taru Jain in Jaipur, one of the students who secured 499 out of 500 marks in CBSE Class X examinations said that she wanted to pursue Economics (Hons) from Delhi University.
Union Minister Smriti Irani, who is facing a poll test in her constituency Amethi, had one result which brought her early joy. Her daughter's class 10 CBSE outcome. After her son made her proud with his class 12 results, Irani was a happy mother again with her daughter scoring 82 per cent in class 10.
"10th board results out . Daughter scored 82 percent . Proud that inspite of challenges she has done well. Way to go Zoe," Irani tweeted.
Performance of Delhi government-run schools in the CBSE Class 10 examination has improved by 2.68 percentage points this year, an official said.
As per the data, the total pass percentage in schools run by the Delhi Government in the CBSE Class 10 examination stands at 71.58 per cent, he said.
