The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi declared the results for its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance exam on 18 June. Candidates can check their results on its official website, aiimsexams.org.
The results for the entrance exam for eight other AIIMS in Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) and Nagpur (Maharashtra) were declared. The counselling process will start in the month of July and the eligible candidates may apply online to choose their college of choices.
It was for the first time that the MBBS exam was conducted on two days, 26 and 27 May.
Last year, the results were declared on 15 June and Nishita Purohit from Gujarat topped the exam with 100 percentile. Out of a total 2 lakh students, 4,905 students qualified for the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam, NDTV reported.
Eliza Bansal from Punjab’s Lehragaga has emerged as the topper of the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination. A student of Dr Devraj DAV Public School in Lehragaga, Eliza scored a 100 percentile in the entrance test for admission to India’s top medical institution.
Nine students from Allen Career Institute in Rajasthan’s coaching hub, Kota, secured the top ranks in the all-India entrance exam.
Allen’s director Naveen Maheshwari said Ramneek Kaur Mahal, Mehak, Manraj Sra, Amitabh Pankaj Chauhan, Abdur Rehman Asrarul Haque, Sangeet Rathi, Amulya Gupta, Somal Agarwal and Eishvauk Aggarwal secured the AIRs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 respectively in AIIMS 2018 results.
Mahal, Sra and Aggarwal are distance learning program students and the rest attended the classroom coaching of Allen. Last year, Allen’s students had captured all the ranks in the top 10.
Eligible students need to register for the counselling process of AIIMS MBBS 2018. Candidate can register by just clicking on the ‘Online Counselling’ link, which will be available under the ‘My Page Account’ link of eligible candidates.
