A Delhi court has issued an interim injunction on the publication on a book written by Priyanka Pathak-Narain on Baba Ramdev.
According to a statement issued by the publishing house Juggernaut Books, the Kakardooma District Court restrained the publishers from 'publication and sale of Godman to Tycoon: The Untold Story of Baba Ramdev'.
Speaking to The Quint, author Priyanka Pathak-Narain said that she will stand by her book.
According to the release, the restraining order has been placed despite the manuscript having been submitted for a legal read vetted by an expert.
The publishers have complied with the order as soon as they received intimation and have said that they will defend the case and will move the court against the injunction.
Several personalities, including MP Shashi Tharoor and Ramchandra Guha immediately took to Twitter to slam the restraining order issued by the court, while voicing their support to the publishers and author.
