Former Union minister and Congress leader Buta Singh passed away on Saturday.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Saturday. He will remain in isolation and rest at his residence in Delhi for a few days, his office said.
Rawat had tested positive for COVID-19 on 18 December.

Seven civilians were injured in a grenade attack by militants in Tral area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir, the police said on Saturday.
The militants hurled a grenade on security forces at the Tral bus stand, the police said.
All seven injured civilians are stable.
