Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that the recovery rate in the country has improved to 64.54 percent, while the doubling rate is 21 days.

The national capital, meanwhile, reported 1,195 new COVID-19 cases and 27 fatalities on Friday, taking the tally in the city to 1,35,598 and the death toll to 3,963. As many as 1,206 patients also recovered or were discharged on Friday.
