We love a battle of wits on Twitter, especially when brands call themselves out! Now Twitter is a space where many brands have cemented their “relatability”, the strongest example being the infamous American burger joint Wendy’s known for its witty and sarcastic replies on Twitter – apparently, this behaviour caused a spike in their sales!

And now, following in their footsteps, Zomato India is pulling out the funny guns on Twitter too.

Zomato India’s Twitter handle is notoriously known for its tongue-in-cheek tweets. But this one really hit the nail on the head: “Guys, kabhi kabhi ghar ka khaana bhi kha lena chahiye (Guys, eat home-cooked food sometimes too)”.

That had us rolling, till Amazon Prime India joined the thread and replied “Guys, kabhi kabhi cable pe bhi kuch dekh lena chahiye (Guys, watch cable sometimes too)”, keeping the joke running.

This kind of self-deprecating humour is what we live for!

But it wasn't long till the trolls smelled the fun and had their very own LOL-worthy commentary on the thread.

Either Zomato India is upping the funny ante or someone’s mom hacked it and is LITERALLY telling us to stop ordering food from them. Now that’s a fun conspiracy theory. What do you think? Comment below!
