*Spoiler f*ckin’ alert*!!!!

It was just another day at the sets of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

Fallon was entertaining the Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams (AKA Arya Stark) as his guest for the night and just like every other GoT cast, who has recently appeared on Fallon’s show or any talk show for that matter, Maisie pointed out how HBO had strictly forbidden the cast and crew involved in the filming from making any statements regarding the upcoming season of Game of Thrones.

Fallon naturally pressed for her to share her experience of filming and then this happened:

PS: Game of Thrones fans, as a fellow ‘watcher’ I advice you to hold on to something before clicking on the play button.

Halfway into the video you must have already guessed where this was going: April Fools prank on fans and HBO alike. But that doesn’t take away the feeling of your heart almost coming out of your mouth!

She should get an Emmy for this performance.(Photo: Twitter/@FallonTonight)

Arya Stark dead in episode two of Game of Thrones season 8 would have a devastating effect on the fans. Just check out some of the reaction from the character’s fans after they recovered from the shock and took to Twitter to share their mental state.

In spite of knowing that this was a joke, one couldn’t shake away the sinking feeling of ‘what if it’s not’.

And then there are those who managed to get something out of it.

Well, whether you hated or loved the prank, you have to agree that Williams deserves an Emmy for her acting to convince us all.
