The Delhi air has embarrassed its citizens yet again. After the Sri Lankan team complained and halted India’s batting innings for a few minutes owing to a blanket of smog, India captain Virat Kohli was forced to declare at a score of 536 for seven in the third and final Test against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
Well, apparently it got so bad that most of the Sri Lankan team members wore pollution masks, and according to the Lankan coach, they were throwing up and had oxygen in the dressing room. But some aren’t happy with this. They are calling it a gimmick meant to save face...quite literally.
