A YouTube video by Miss Imsong, a girl from the North-East, takes on the stereotypes associated with people hailing from that part of the country.

In the video, the girl can be seen mocking the ‘mainland Indians’ and their perception of people from the seven states of North-Eastern India.

Sprinkled with just the right amount of sarcasm and nearly perfect expressions, the video attempts to be a mirror to all those who repeatedly treat people from the North-Easter as an exotic species from a far away, unknown land.

Taking a dig at North-Indians, Imsong asks if all of them know how to speak Sanskrit, among other things, or if the capital of Madhya Pradesh is Haridwar.
