Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, people are coming up with all possible ways to keep themselves entertained while social distancing. As a result, everyone’s dating life has taken a back seat. Except for this guy from Brooklyn, New York, who found himself a hack.
Jeremy Cohen, a US-based photographer uploaded a TikTok video of how he got a girl across the street to talk to her. The video, titled ‘A story about a quarantined cutie,’ has Jeremy narrating the whole story. He says,
In part one of the video, he can be seen taping his drone with his phone number and flying it across the street to the girl’s roof. What made him do this? He talked about how he’s intimidated by the idea of flirting and being quarantined in his apartment without any social interaction encouraged him to reach out.
Getting more creative in part two, Jeremy organised for a virtual dinner date with ‘roof girl’- Tori. He laid a nice table for himself and also got to do the same for Tori by sneakily asking her roommate to help. The two of them ate their “organic microwavable dinners” and had a great time. But what next?
Well, Jeremy might’ve pulled the ultimate quarantine romantic experience. In part three, he cocooned himself in a giant see-through orb! He then texted Tori to come out and see him and even brought some flowers (but that was a fail because the man was in an orb - still adorable).
The two walked around Brooklyn and even got held up by the cops, only for a cute picture though.
Within 2 days of uploading this video, Jeremy and Tori’s love story became a hit all over social media and has left netizens in awe. People all around the world are trying new ways of communication and socialising while in quarantine but Jeremy totally left the internet drooling for a romance like his.
