The ‘Laurel or Yanny’ debate, which took the internet by storm and divided netizens all over the world, has now made its way to the home of the US president.
In a video posted on the official Twitter handle of The While House, several officials declare whether they hear ‘Yanny’ or ‘Laurel.’
The video opens with White House adviser and President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, exclaiming, “so officially Laurel.” Many of her colleagues side with her, and soon it seems that the president’s entourage is a part of Team Laurel.
However, several others step in and assert that the word is, in fact, ‘Yanny’ and not anything else. Team Yanny gets a boost with Vice President Mike Pence joining them, although he mocks it and says, “Who’s Yanny?”
But its the POTUS who has the final say. Donald Trump, making a surprise appearance in the end, puts the debate to rest.
“I Hear Covfefe,” he says.
While there were several replies to the video, the one which caught everyone’s attention was by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
