On Wednesday morning, the Supreme Court brutally quashed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s arbitrary attempt to centralise power by imposing President’s Rule in Arunachal Pradesh.

Obviously Congress – whose power was restored in the state – celebrated the ruling. And even the Aam Aadmi Party wasn’t far behind in praising Supreme Court and criticising the Narendra Modi-led government.

Their supporters (read: Bhakt haters) on Twitter joined in and how!

Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal vociferously emphasised the true meaning of democracy. And for Modi, the words “slap in his face” are popular.

Then, there were shots fired by the Congress’ national spokesperson.
