Yet again, something is trending that will make you question the sanity and intellect of the internet.
A Rs 10 note that surfaced a few days ago very poetically conveyed the feelings of a lover, who wrote on it “Sonam Gupta bewafaa hai.”
If you have not yet come across Sonam Gupta, you are lucky. However, the entirety of Twitter is not happy with her “bewafai.”
Because joke formats are evergreen and Twitterati are always looking for the person to be the next victim to the joke.
Clearly, Akshay Kumar can find the plot of his next film somewhere in this international phenomenon.
The bewafaai phenomenon has obviously also reached our comedians. Here’s proof:
There are now multiple Facebook pages with the name ‘Sonam Gupta Bewafaa Hai’, putting out one meme after the other. And of course, they haven’t spared politicians too.
