Moments after adventurer Bear Grylls announced PM Narendra Modi's upcoming appearance on popular British show Man vs Wild, users on Twitter were hysterical and couldn't contain their excitement.
While many showed eagerness to see PM Modi with the British TV star, others poked fun at the announcement, saying the prime minister will “create havoc in liberal jungle.”
Grylls meanwhile, confirmed the news on Twitter on 29 July as he shared the trailer which showed PM Modi in it.
The episode will air on Discovery Channel India on 12 August at 9 pm.
In March, media reports had suggested that Grylls visited India in February – a time when the Pulwama terror attack on CRPF convoys happened. The report added that Grylls’ was present at the Jim Corbett tiger reserve in Uttarakhand’s Dhikala for a “shoot.”
During the same time, Uttarakhand Forest Department had cancelled all tourist bookings for the Dhikala forest due to PM Modi’s visit to the state.
Therefore, many users on Twitter pointed out that PM Modi was “busy” shooting with Grylls on the episode during the attack.
