As Jammu and Kashmir reels under floods, a heartwarming video showing Sikh men risking their lives to retrieve items from the flood waters has been making the rounds on social media.

The video, believed to be shot in a village in Tral, shows Sikh men attempting to save items, including books and religious items, from a small building, dangerously close to the rising waters. Congress leader Salman Nizami tweeted the video on 21 July.

According to reports, the men were saving religious items from a mosque. The men have been hailed for their bravery, while several have lauded what they have termed as communal harmony in the face of danger.
