The Supreme Court struck down the practice of Triple Talaq as unconstitutional. The SC bench declared the practice “un-Islamic, retrograde, unworthy” and said that it “violates (the) right to equality.”

Tweeple, of course, had a lot to say and a lot more to speculate. While some applauded the decision, others mulled over the consequences, the larger socio-political scenario, and what the judgment means for Muslim women.
