A day after the Indian Army revealed that it carried out surgical strikes on Pakistan, the newspapers of both the countries carried the news on the front pages.

But the way both sides portrayed the news has been very different, with Pakistani media denying the strikes and calling them a “farce” and an “illusion”.

Here’s taking a closer look at the two sides.

The headlines show how the two nations will never be on the same page (and of course, no nation would want to accept covert operations of this magnitude).

The Pakistani went on to say that they had killed eight Indian soldiers after the news of the Indian surgical strikes was released, but Indian Army denied those claims.
