Rahul Gandhi’s political inclinations and capabilities have often been suspect, as the media never fails to highlight his gaffes and awkward statements.

Poor Mr Gandhi is rarely too far off from being the butt of jokes.

On Wednesday however, his unforgivable act was that of dozing off while Parliament was in session.

And it looks like he won’t be hearing the end of it for a while.

It came as no surprise that Twitter also joined the bandwagon, enthusiastically taking digs at him with some rather precious puns. Take a look!

Some of them were quite cruel, but still undeniably funny.

Even actor Paresh Rawal took a dig.

But perhaps the best was this one, who took the pains of digging out this photo from the archives.
