When planets and stars align fine, mighty good things happen. But when they fall a little out of line, July 11 happens.
Yes, you heard that right!
Ask Bejan Daruwalla to explain why he shares his birthday with a rather odd group of eminent people, each miles apart from each other.
Sounds crazy? It only will get better. Wait till we tell you who all were born on this fated day.
Well Tun Tun, Jhumpa Lahiri, Kumar Gaurav and Giorgio Armani, were born today, and so did Mr Daruwala. We wonder what his Ganesha has to say about that?
Helllooo Ganesha???
Well we at The Quint could not imagine them together in any other scenario but a Bollywood film. A good ‘ol multi-starrer.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you the cast of The Fault in Our Stars: Kis Kis Ki Kismet.
The Legendary Tun Tun
Miss Little is the funny fat neighbourhood cop who’s always there — may it be to tickle a bone, or break a bone.
Jhumpa Lahiri
She knows everything. EVERYTHING. After staying saat samubdar paar for most of her life, KIA has returned to her lowland, sorry, homeland, two blocks away from Miss Little’s house. But she is not at home. She is restless, and lonely. She shares a relationship of conflict with Kia, the girl next door, her namesake. Her affair with Mr Suave is also falling apart.
Giorgio Armani
He is KIA’s janu and generally taking-care-of-everything person. A sophisticated and not for the masses designer met the Indian beauty in a café in Rome. It was love at the fourth sight, and Mr Suave took it upon himself to be with KIA, come what may. Her makeover that made it to all the headlines of Florence last summer, was his doing. After all, a true Cancerian strives for perfection. But If there is one person in KIA’s life, rather household who is not fond of Mr Suave, is Prem Pujari, her driver.
Kumar Gaurav
Once upon a time, he used to have a life. Now he has someone’s car to drive, and is looking for a wife. But kahani main twist is that the desired wife is no one else than KIA. So Mr Suave has become raaste ka kanta. What will Prem do? Will he get his girl? Or will he head to Canada and start a car pool service there?
Bejan Daruwala
He is the one person who knows more than Miss Know-it-all. Yes, he knows more than EVERYTHING. He is the narrator, who lives in a photo-frame on KIA’s wall. Only Miss Little can speak with him. Will they, together, make KIA achieve her happy ending?
For all this, and more, don’t forget to watch The Fault in Our Stars: Kis Kis Ki Kismet.
