Virender Sehwag’s presence in the Twitter world is growing day-by-day. His tweets manage to break the internet every other day. This time round, the cricketer has once again managed to evoke a reply from Piers Morgan for his tweet on India beating England, but this time in kabaddi.
Sehwag on Tuesday congratulated the Indian Kabaddi team for “thrashing” the English in the ongoing World Cup to which British journalist and television personality Piers Morgan evidently took offence.
‘It’s lose’, said Morgan promptly pointing out a spelling error in the tweet.
While Sehwag chose not to respond to Morgan’s tweet, the Indian cricketer’s faithful fans took it upon themselves to back him.
Post the 2016 Rio Olympics, Morgan got trolled while attempting to pull one on Virender Sehwag on Twitter. After Morgan commented on India’s performance at Rio, Sehwag refused to go on Arnab Goswami’s Newshour debate, saying that the “British guy” did not deserve “any airtime”.
