Everyone’s Fawning Over Oreo’s ‘New’ Candy Bar, But It’s Not New!

The company has released two chocolate candy bars in US, but they were already around in Europe.

If Oreo was made a religion today, it would already have billions of devotees. Biscuits, ice creams, shakes, brownies – it has various forms of deities to worship as well. Then there’s the lesser known Oreo candy.

Oreo has released two chocolate candy bars in United States (US) – Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar and Oreo Big Crunch Bar. People are going crazy about these ‘new’ candies, but it’s not entirely a new product. It has already been around in Europe since last year.

Following its success there, the company decided to bring the candy bars to US. The product is in partnership with Swiss Chocolate company, Milka.

The first candy bar has Oreo cookie pieces mixed in vanilla creme and coated in Milka chocolate. And the second is a layer of Oreo cookies between two layers of vanilla creme, coated in European Milka chocolate candy.

The candy has hit select shelves in US and is slated to roll out nationally in January 2017.

Cookie lovers in India will have to wait for now to get their hands on this beauty!
