Being a Hindu apparently comes with many privileges. Transferring money for instance; it is a fact universally acknowledged that any monetary or non-monetary dealing involving humans can only be successful if it is taking place between two Hindus. Everyone else will be dismissed.
Let’s take Yuvraj Singh’s fiance’s case. Hazel Keech wanted to transfer money via Western Union Money Transfer and was apparently denied the permission to do so because her name was not ‘Hindu enough’.
Here’s how the issue panned out:
Western Union later offered a statement, saying that they regretted the incident and that the matter was under investigation.
The statement added that in cases of personal cross-border remittances, “regulators expect that the relationship between the sender and receiver is established prior to payout.”
