On the occasion of the Bengali New Year, celebrated on 14 April, the Berklee Indian Ensemble performed an original song composed by Armeen Musa, the first Bangladeshi to join the group.

“Jaago Piya’s” lyrics were written by Musa’s mother Dr Nashid Kamal. This song is guaranteed to give you shivers.

Musical maestro AR Rahman himself visited Berklee College of Music in Boston, where they recorded a cover of “Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera”. The group performed with him in a concert as well.
