The New York Times article, titled "Why Deep Breathing May Keep Us Calm", describes how deep breathing results in good health. It took an elaborate study on mice in a lab for Stanford researchers to understand the benefits of deep breathing, which, by the way, India discovered long ago – thanks to yoga and our age-old Vedas.

And of course, Indians had a lot of things to say in reaction to the article.
