We are all aware of the blunder Prime Minister Modi made when he wished the President of Afghanistan a happy birthday, three months early.

To which, Ghani politely responded:

What’s great is that our Prime Minister, with a little bit of humour, wished the Afghani President on the right day.

Ghani, complimenting Modi on being a dear friend and a great supporter, thanked India’s Prime Minister in Hindi, for his wish.

We applaud PM Modi for using Social Media to the max, whether to wish a president or to communicate with the public.
