Fan Film on Voldemort to Be Out Soon, and We Cannot Be Happier!

The trailer of a prequel fan film on Voldemort looks promising. Hope the movie is as good as the books were!

I was among the last people in my batch to read the beloved Harry Potter books. I kept avoiding them as I wasn’t the ‘magical fiction type’. One of my closest friends in school distanced herself from me when I dismissed her repeated efforts to make me read them.

Graffiti on the school desks was dedicated to Pottermania. Scribbles such as “Oh Harry, don’t participate in the Triwizard Tournament”, would greet me every morning. Distressed by the receding number of friends, I bit the bullet and started a ‘one Harry Potter book a week’ schedule.

I nosedived into the Potter world, and well, the rest is history.

I galloped on, fast and furious, through the first three books in a couple of weeks. Then, of course, I joined the Potter bandwagon and began chatting in its lingo.

Years later, I began thinking of Lord Voldemort more deeply; his evil intentions aside, there had to be more to him. I’d sit and wonder.

Not a glorified version of evil, but a narrative. A narrative that tells his story.

Thanks to Warner Bros, a prequel fan film about Voldemort's origin story will be releasing soon. The trailer already looks fabulous. Let’s hope that the movie is as good as the books.
